Michael Shinabery has been broadcasting in radio since the mid-1970s. He began his current show, on Alamo Sports + Talk, in February 2001, since that time producing more than 2,100 hours of programming. Michael is a former award-winning staff writer with the Alamogordo Daily News. The Michael Shinabery Show airs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7–8AM. A music buff with an eclectic taste in styles and genres as far back as a century ago, Michael combines humor, the unusual in music and news, and an array of local and nationally-known guests for early-morning listeners.
